Man vs. Nature, A Photographic Response to the Climate Crisis

Building on the foundational aspects of theory and technical competency of the first two years of photographic study at Open Window, the third year students are encouraged to find their own photographic voice. Work is divided between a conceptual approach in commercial photography and a parallel focus on pure personal work. In the second term, we introduce the photographer to gallery work and the importance of addressing a current topic with a personal approach. In 2022 we have chosen Man vs. Nature, a photographic response to the climate crisis, a contemporary issue that will only grow in their lives beyond study.
