Open Window - Workshops

We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a variety of workshops throughout August. Join us on the Open Window, Centurion campus for an opportunity to participate in new and exciting workshops.

  • The workshops are for learners in Grade 10, 11 or 12.
  • The cost for each workshop is R450.00 per pupil.
  • For those enrolling with us in 2025, the R450.00 will be credited toward your first year of studies.

To reserve your seat, please follow these steps:

1. Complete a registration form for each workshop you wish to attend.
2. Attach your proof of payment to the form to secure your seat. (Seats are limited.)
3. Please take note of the booking deadline for each workshop.

Introduction to Filmmaking

Want to know what happens on a film set? Students will be given a crash course on running a film set and will have the opportunity to shoot and edit a film of their own.This workshop will cover fundamental film terminology, an introduction to cinematography, audio as well as editing.

All you need to bring with you is a cellphone (every smartphone is a camera), some wired earphones and the desire to tell a story.

From custom keyboards to smart devices, we can use microcontrollers to create new technologies quickly and easily. A whole new world of possibilities awaits! Join us for a hands on demonstration of these mini computers on Saturday 17 August, from 10:00 to 13:00.
