Feedback Process:
- You will receive 5 x ‘Feedback Tokens’ upon check-in.
- Areas of specialisation will be marked in the venue. Line up the section in which you want feedback.
- Cash in one token each time you sit down for a feedback session (each table will have a ‘piggy bank’).
- Each feedback session lasts 5 minutes. Keep your introduction brief so the industry member has time to give you feedback.
- Wear your name badge clearly so the industry members can easily rate your portfolio after the session.
Portfolio Presentation Tips:
- Think carefully about which work you show – don’t show too many examples. We recommend ± 5 slides.
- Remember your portfolio is only as good as your weakest work!
- We recommend showing your work digitally on a laptop or tablet, as this is how most industry members will view your work when you apply for jobs.
- We don’t recommend bringing the physical work, as this can get clunky. Keep your presentation uniform.
- We recommend showcasing your work on a website, Google Slides, Powerpoint, a Behance page or a pdf presentation.
- While there will be wifi, make sure you have the tab open and/or downloaded before presenting to avoid delays.
